Clara Ruff Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

St. Albans- Clara Judith Ruff, 91, of St. Albans passed away march 3, 2011 at Henrico Doctors Hospital, Richmond, VA. Born June 26, 1919 in Lincoln, County, she was a daughter of the late Vernon Mervin and Julia Frances Jessee Stone. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roland William Ruff; her sons, Philip Glen Ruff and Larry Douglas Ruff; her brother, Arnold Braxton Stone. She was a former dental assistant with Dr. Hubert Preston, DDS and a member of First Presbyterian Church, St. Albans. Surviving are her daughter, Carol Ruff Bouknight Dunlap of Rockville, VA; her brother, Clayton Forrest Stone of St. Albans; her grandchildren, David (Karen) Bouknight, Brittney Ruff Knight, Leahkay Ruff and Matthew Ruff; her great-grandchildren, Jonathan Bouknight and Rebecca Bouknight; her sister-in-law, Melinda Ruff of Charlotte, NC. Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, March 5, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church, 201 Kanawha Terrace, St. Albans with Rev. Paul Romine officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church.
