Michele Stiltner Ball, 60, of Scott Depot, WV passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2026. Michele lived each day as a faithful servant of Christ, reflecting His love through unwavering faith, quiet humility, and a heart devoted to serving others. Every morning she woke with the intention of caring for others and looking for ways to serve. Her life was a beautiful testimony to God's faithfulness, leaving an enduring legacy of grace, compassion, and selfless love. Serving others was simply who Michele was. She saw a need and met it in every aspect of her life. She faithfully served in numerous capacities at her beloved church, Teays Valley Church of God, including serving on the Board of Trustees, teaching children's church, cleaning the church, participating in work days, and helping with outreach events. Michele also started GriefShare at Teays Valley Church of God and helped found the church pickleball league. Whether serving her church, her family, or a friend in need, her life was marked by humble service. Family was the greatest blessing of Michele's life. She originally married her high school sweetheart, Greg Stiltner, in 1988. Together they built a beautiful family with their children, Emily, Amanda, and Jacob. After the sudden passing of her beloved husband, Greg, Michele found love again with her husband, Tim Ball, whom she married in 2011, adding his two children, Nick and Michaela, to her heart. Together Michele and Tim shared many adventures with their blended family of five children. She was a kind, supportive, loving, and caring wife who deeply loved Tim and cherished experiencing life alongside him. Michele loved each of her five children with a heart that knew no distinction. Through the beautiful gift of a blended family, she embraced her stepchildren as her own, offering the same unwavering love, steadfast support, and selfless devotion that reflected the love of Christ. She also welcomed her sons- and daughter-in-law as her own children, always making them feel loved, accepted, and supported. Known affectionately as "Gigi," Michele adored her six grandchildren. She made every effort to be present for both the ordinary and extraordinary moments of their lives. She regularly planned sleepovers, loved FaceTiming with each of her grandchildren, baked cupcakes for parties, played alongside them, and faithfully attended their games, recitals, concerts, and other special events. She invested deeply in each of them, taking genuine interest in their hobbies, activities, and lives. As a daughter, Michele loved her parents well. Her steadfast work ethic was a reflection of the example set by her mother and father. She remained constant in her care, love, and support for them throughout her life. She was also a loving sister to her brother and a devoted aunt who treasured her family. Michele was a devoted friend through every season of life. She faithfully prayed for her friends, regularly checked in on them, and offered encouragement and support through both celebrations and trials. In her free time, Michele found joy in beekeeping, playing pickleball, crocheting, and baking. These hobbies reflected the same spirit with which she lived her life—bringing people together, creating community, and caring for others. In addition to her husband Tim, Michele is survived by her children: Emily Smith (Sawyer) of Hurricane, WV, Amanda Meadows (Collin) of Milton, WV, Jacob Stiltner (Brooklyn) of Scott Depot, WV, Michaela Cook (Chance) of Lake Wales, FL, and Nicholas Ball of Hurricane, WV; grandchildren: June, Maryn, Colbie, Maddox, Raleigh, and Paxton; parents: James and Delores Taylor of Scott Depot, WV; brother, Michael Taylor (Shawna) of Huntington, WV; as well as a host of extended family, church family and friends. Though Michele will be deeply missed, we rejoice knowing she has heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant." Funeral Service for Michele will be 11:30 am Wednesday July 22, 2026 at Teays Valley Church of God 185 Connection Pt Scott Depot, WV 25560 with Rev Dr. Melissa Pratt officiating.
