Norman Frampton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Hurricane- Norman Blair Frampton, Sr., 90, of Hurricane passed away July 3, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, WV. Born March 31, 1921, he was a son of the late Murray and Fannie Halstead Frampton. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Alice "Myrtle" Frampton, his brothers, Jess, Wesley, Junior and Sidney Frampton as well as his sister, Sarah. Retired from Libby-Owens Ford with 42 years of service, he also enjoyed time gardening and working with flowers. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish. He served his country with the United States Army during World War II. Surviving are his daughter, Frances Morris and her husband, Delmer of Elkhart, IN; his sons, Phillip and his wife, Joyce, Douglas and his wife, Cindy all of Elkhart, IN, Norman, Jr. and his wife, BJ of Melbourne, FL, Robert and Becky of Hurricane; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Service will be 11am Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, 409 Sixth Avenue, St. Albans with Rev. Gary Frampton officiating.
