Ronald F. Kleppinger

On September 11th, 2016, Ronald F Kleppinger passed away tragically at the age of 48. His friends and family have had a truly admirable individual taken from them before his time. Forever an unwavering source of support, he raised his children by example, encouraging and guiding them in every endeavor, taking an exemplarily active role in their lives. This has had a beautifully positive effect in shaping his children into adulthood and those who were fortunate enough to know him knew the benefits his attention had on their own lives. Through all the responsibilities and burdens he took on to better and aid those around him, Ron was always the brightest light in every room. An infectious smile, laugh, and his notoriously jovial humor were never far from suddenly sending those around him into sidesplitting hilarity. He brought out the best in his loved ones and all, pushing them always to achieve their very best and see the joy in every moment of life. He loved those dear to him without measure and in his every action impressed upon them his sincerity of heart, teaching us all what it really meant to love without bounds. He was a man who loved to surround himself with challenges and see through every potential to fulfillment, standing firmly in many people's corners at once. A model father, his children were first and foremost but he gave real meaning to the words family man, as an unfaltering son, brother, cousin, and nephew who freely let others depend on him especially in times of crisis. His true leadership as an individual inspired those who found themselves in his presence throughout his life as he served his country proudly as a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy and after he returned home to indulge us in his good company. Never one to expect anything in return for his kind heart, fierce sense of loyalty, nor bravery; he will always live on in our hearts and minds as a man to measure up to, to treasure memories of, and to carry with us as a reminder of all the good he saw in life and in ourselves. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, September 16, 2016 at Winfield United Methodist Church, 20 Radwin Dr., Winfield. Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane is serving the Kleppinger family.
