Sally Eddy Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sally Sue Eddy, 74 of Culloden, WV formerly of Summerfield Florida passed away September 2, 2009 at her home. On August 29, 2009, Sally and her husband George Eddy moved from the Spruce Creek Golf and Country Club, Summerfield Florida to West Virginia to be closer to their family. Born March 13, 1935 in Parkersburg, WV, Sally was a daughter of the late, Lester and Louise (Kehl) Reed. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Harper and Jim Wagner. Sally was a 1953 graduate of Marietta High School, Marietta, Ohio. On December 6, 1953, she married her high school sweetheart, George William Eddy. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, George William Eddy; daughter, Cindi and husband Tony Hantke of Scott Depot, WV; son, John William Eddy of Alexander, Arkansas; grandchildren, Leslie Oaks of Cross Lanes, WV and Matthew Oaks and wife Sara of Hurricane, WV; sister, Jeanne Haddox of Bluefield, WV and brother Jack Reed of Ft. Myers, FL. The family would like to thank Norma Perkins for all of her help and support. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
