Thomas Allan Robinson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Allan Robinson, a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and husband, who left us on July 26, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Lola Robinson. Tom was born on April 21st 1946, Tom lived a life filled with love, dedication, and adventure. A proud veteran of the United States Navy and West Virginia Air National Guard, Tom served his country with honor and integrity. His commitment to service was a testament to his character, and he carried the values he learned during his time in the military throughout his life. After his service, he transitioned into a successful career in business being the CEO of his own company where he was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering integrity. Tom was not just a businessman; he was a mentor to many, always willing to lend a helping hand and share his wisdom. As a devoted Catholic, Tom found strength and solace in his faith. He was an active member of his parish, where he formed lasting friendships and contributed to the community. As a result he proudly earned his 4th degree with the Knights of Columbus. His faith guided him in all aspects of his life, instilling in him a deep sense of compassion and kindness towards others. Tom was a loving husband to Beth and a proud father to: Brian and Brett Robinson, Kim Peyton, Jennifer and Jeff Wood; grandfather to: Ashley Brock, Cassie and Sarah Peyton and Cameron Hatfield. He was also a loving great grandfather to Avery Cupit, Audrey, Ansley and Adley Hatfield. He cherished his family above all else, creating a warm and nurturing home filled with laughter and love. Family vacations to Disney were a highlight of his life, where he created countless joyful memories with his loved ones. His infectious laughter and playful spirit brought joy to those around him and he had a unique ability to make every moment special. Tom leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. In honoring his memory, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with purpose and passion. His honorary Pall Bearers are his friends: Matt Arrowood, Joe Sowers, Scott Tyree, Eugen Buzan, Houston Roberts and fellow Knight, Joe King. Tom’s Memorial Mass of Christian Service will be 12:00 noon Saturday August 2, 2025 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 2219 22nd Street Nitro, WV with Rev. Fr. Chapin officiating. Friends may visit with family one hour prior to the service. Rest in peace, Tom. Your love and spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
