Christopher Joel Boyer

Christopher Joel Boyer, 54, of Hurricane, WV, passed away on May 18, 2022. He was born April 1968 in Morgantown, WV. As a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School, he was a true “Polar Bear” at heart. A devoted family man, with a great sense of humor, he was an avid sportsman, an excellent marksman, and loved being in the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Jeneth Lea Williams, who loved and cared for him greatly. Also by his uncle, Ernest Boyer, who loved him like a father. Left to cherish his memory is the “love of his life”, Sue Hardman Boyer, whom he married on August 8, 1993. In October 1993, he was gifted with his most precious gift, the apple of his eye, Hannah Elizabeth. In May of 1998, he was thrilled with the birth of his only son, Zachary Joel. Also surviving is his mother, Charlene Boyer of Fairmont, WV. His family was his most precious treasures. Memorial Service will be 4:00 pm, Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Boothsville United Methodist Church, 19 Boothsville Road, Fairmont, WV 26554.
