Juanita "Nete" Rose Arrington

Juanita “Nete” Rose, 101, of Winfield WV passed away on November 27, 2021 at her daughter’s home with family at her side. She was a daughter to the late William I. and Mildred G. Fish Fitzsimmons in Red House. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband George Arrington and son in-law, Carl B. Pape. Nete has spent a lifetime working, whether it be as a CNA (working up to the age of 86 when she wasn’t able to continue due to injuries), as a private secretary in state government, or her favorite, as a mother. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Clara Pape and George Arrington (Rebecca); grandchildren: Carl Pape Jr., Christy Pape-Payne, and Richard Arrington. The family would like to give a special thank you to everyone that has helped us: Hospice, Joyce Kelley, Nancy Baldwin, Rene Gorby and Nete’s beloved and special niece Geneva Asbury. Following Nete’s wishes, she was entombed alongside her husband at Haven of Rest Memory Gardens, Red House, WV. Chapman Funeral Home, 12848 Winfield Road, Winfield WV 25213 was honored to handle Nete’s services.
