Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Crockett

August 25, 1948 - November 15, 2019

Rebecca Lynn Ross Crockett, 71, of Eleanor WV, passed away on November 15, 2019. She was born a daughter of the late Jerry and Olive Ross on August 25, 1948. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Celeste Zipperlen (Wayne); brothers: Dana L., Jerry H., Larry A., William F. (Billy), and Clarence E. Ross; and sisters: Dottie Lynch and Frances Leftwich. Rebecca was a devoted and loving wife, mother, mawmaw, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was a life-long antique collector and dealer. She loved flowers, crossword puzzles, hummingbirds, and collecting santa figurines. Most importantly, she loved her family and treasured every moment with them. She especially loved cooking for her family and hosting family get-togethers. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 53 years, Joe Crockett; daughter: Stacy Crockett-Cooper (Michael); son: Joe Crockett; grandchildren: Brittany Fike (Darr), Kayla Bowman, Kevin Craig (Melinda), Jenalle Crabtree (Michael), and Josh Cooper (Georgie); great grandchildren: Liam and Auria Fike, Avery Svingos, Jax Cooper, Kyah and Kaleb (Jazmin) Crabtree, Ollie, Eli and Milo Craig; brothers: Gwynn D., Richard (Barbara), Raymond, and David (Sharon); sisters: Barbara Pritt, Kay Truman, and Debbie Saunders (Pete). A Celebration of Life service to honor Becky will be at 7:00pm Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home, Winfield. Friends and family may visit the funeral home from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Tuesday. Chapman Funeral Home, 12848 Winfield Rd., Winfield WV is honored to handle the Crockett Family’s arrangements.
