Wendell Ford Wilcoxen

July 31, 1949 - February 4, 2022

Wendell Ford Wilcoxen, 72, of Winfield WV, passed away on February 4, 2022 at the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center, Huntington WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Wilcoxen and Garnett Davis Wilcoxen Shue, brothers, Clifford and Vernon Wilcoxen. Wendy was a proud Combat Veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Wilcoxen and his grandson, Nolan Wilcoxen, along with many other family members and friends. Funeral service for Wendy will be 2:00pm Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Chapman Funeral Home, Winfield WV with Pastor Mark Hesson officiating. Burial will follow in Lower Hodges Cemetery, Hurricane WV. Friends may visit the family an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
