James Caldwell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Hurricane- James Harold Caldwell, 66, of Hurricane, WV went home to be with the Lord April 12, 2011, Born November 13, 1944 in Charleston, he was a son of the late Dr. O.E. Caldwell, founding Pastor of Grace Baptist Temple and his wife, Opal Moore Caldwell. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Paul and John. An active member of Teays Valley Baptist Church, James served as choir director for 20 years. In this role, his love of Christ was expressed and shared with many congregations over the years. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Rose; his daughter, Danielle Wilson and her husband, Rodney and their son, Cody all of Tennessee; his sister, Lois Gail Fisher and her husband, Joe of Hurricane. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews including Stacie Howell, Shannon Sypolt and Adam Sypolt. Homegoing services will be held 11am Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Teays Valley Baptist Church with Dr. John D. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane.
